Hudson Associates was commissioned by Sylvia Park Business Centre Limited (“Sylvia Park”) in March 2008 to assess the landscape and visual effects of the proposed Private Plan Change 235. The report was issued in 2009, which involved an assessment of the appropriateness of the proposed changes to the height limits (and other controls) and the criteria for structures pursuant to the proposal. Landscape Evidence was then prepared for Auckland Council (formal Auckland City Council) Hearing.

The plan modification 235 had been adopted by Auckland Council in September 2010.
