Palmerston North City Council has requested a background landscape assessment and analysis information relating to the current buffer zones and access provisions contained in the North East Industrial Zone of the District Plan, for a proposed Plan Change.

Hudson Associates was engaged to review the existing plan provisions and assess the landscape and amenity effects of the buffer zones on the interface of the NE Industrial zone with the rural environment, local roads and residential areas, as well as the effects on amenity of access from the North East Industrial Zone onto Richardsons Line.
