Assessment of Landscape Provisions, District Plan Review

Hudson Associates was engaged by PNCC to undertake a review of the landscape provisions for the Inner and Outer Business Zones. The landscape report provides recommendations for Outer Business Zone, in terms of tree planting, pedestrian amenity, car park design and interface issues on streetscape scale; and for Inner Business Zone, it focuses on the landscape design in relation to the pedestrian amenity, retailing activities, hardscape, and building issues.

Palmerston North City Council has currently lodged further submissions to this plan change in March 2011.
